Stanway House & Fountain Wedding Photographer
Claire & Silas got married on a beautiful August day at Stanway House & Fountain, located in the heart of the Cotswolds. Stanway is a beautiful Jacobean manor house famous for its 300 feet single-jet fountain, the highest in Britain and the highest gravity fountain in the world. Sila’s family have lived in the area for many years and the venue held a special place for him.
We had a relaxing morning in the Cotswolds together, where Claire had some amazing wedding henna applied to her hands the night before. I was then on hand to capture their stunning ceremony at St Peter's Church, located next to Stanway House.
They had a brilliant afternoon and wedding breakfast in the Tithe Barn, before everyone gathered outside at 7pm sharp to watch the famous fountain be turned out. It was brilliant to say the least, whilst some guests got a little too close! They then finished their evening with my favourite wedding event, a Ceilidh! A ceilidh dance is a traditional Scottish/Irish social gathering, and they are nothing but fun.
Please enjoy a few of my favourites from the day below.
